In May of 1999, the W3C established accessibility guidelines for web development. Additionally, the department of justice declared that all federal institution websites must meet accessibility guidelines under the American Disabilities Act by the year 2001. The DOJ also advised that all agencies that do business with federal institutions must meet the same standards.
We believe firmly that all websites should transform gracefully regardless of the browser employed, and we will employ appropriate technology to accomplish that goal.
